The 4 Best Pet Sitters Serving Liberty Village, Toronto
You’ve bought the plane tickets, booked the hotel, and now you’re left with the dreaded task of finding a trustworthy and reliable pet sitter.
If you’re like me, you’re really worried about leaving your pets while you travel, and you want to make sure they’re in the BEST of hands.
We at PetsGo understand that you need to look at all your options before making such an important decision – after all, you’ll be giving someone the keys to your home (and not to mention, access to your beloved fur-babies)!
I’ve done some research and found the top 4 pet sitters recommended by Liberty Village locals, either through online reviews or in Facebook neighbourhood groups. These pet sitters all have a pretty solid reputation, and 5-star ratings across the board (as of the writing of this article). As a minimum requirement to be on this list, each company must have insurance and bonding.
In order to be as neutral and transparent as possible, I’m excluding PetsGo from the list.

Barks ‘N’ Purrs
Barks ’N’ Purrs have been in business since 2007 and serve all of downtown and uptown Toronto. They have a great reputation, even being featured in BlogTO and Toronto City Gossip. They’re primarily a dog walking company but they do offer boarding and cat visits as well.
Buttonnoses is a small-breed dog rescue and pet sitting service. For tiny pups, they offer daycare, boarding, drop-in visits, pet taxi and training courses. They love cats too and offer half hour kitty visits. 10% of their revenue is donated to their Save A Life Program, which helps rescue tiny dogs with special needs.
Liberty Pooch was founded to provide an all-inclusive pet care solution to busy professionals. In addition to small group dog walks, doggy daycare, boarding and cat visits, they also offer concierge services to accommodate any pet care request their clients may have.
The Village Dog Pack
The Village Dog Pack is the first dog walking service dedicated to the Liberty Village neighbourhood only. They’re mainly a group dog walking company with several pack leaders, but they have several options for dog and cat sitting services for their clients who are going out of town. They also offer wedding dog chaperone services for couples who want their pup to be part of their big day.
I hope this list is been helpful to you in your search for the best pet sitter!
